Familiarization: CST IT Final Year Students
DITT received visit request from CST to get familiar about DITT Infrastructure. To this respect, Infrastructure division on October 26th 2018 gave brief presentation on three main section of the division
- Government Data Center (GDC)
- Government Network (GovNet), &
- Bhutan Cyber Incident Response Team (BtCIRT)
Division of Telecom & Space also gave brief presentation on the status of DrukREN & National Fiber Network. It was then followed by visit to Government Data Center at Thimphu TechPark.

Addendum
The Department would like to issue addendum under following clause:
Scope of Services
1.1 Manage, maintain and operate the Government Data Center network, servers and storage
including all the hosted services/applications and all new systems and services within the
contract period…
Notifications
This is to kindly inform that TWAN server room at DITT premise is undergoing major facelift. While the major civil works are complete, power/network cabling works are currently pending. We have scheduled execution of remaining works on Saturday[2nd June 2018].
In light of this, G2C and some related services will experience disruption from 9AM till 2PM during execution of works.
However, TWAN/GovNet team will strive to ensure that network and services are restored at the earliest possible.
